9. Winter Comes

The whole point of the incredible 'Beyond The Wall' episode was to go and get a wight to prove to Cersei that the Long Night is coming and everyone needs to hunker down and work together to fight the Night King. It could be assumed that the reveal of the wight captured by Jon Snow's raiding party would be enough to convince the Queen, but who says that will be the case?

Will Cersei suddenly relinquish her fierce hold on the idea that her power is all that matters simply because zombies exist? She doesn't know they're necessarily a threat to her directly, and faced with a choice between fearing an unknown quantity and fearing Dany, you know which way she'll turn.

So what if the Night King comes to King's Landing at the climax of Season 6 and shows Cersei exactly why she should have listened to Dany and Jon? What if he lands his ice dragon in her courtyard and kills her with one mighty swoosh of irony? It would be a hell of a way to confirm that the Long Night is a bigger threat to Westeros' people than anything human, that's for sure.
