Game Of Thrones: 11 Characters Who Will Probably Survive Until The End

Why He'll Survive

He's already died once, so there's hardly any point in killing him off again. We've explored that avenue of the character, and seen how it's changed him and his approach to life, so there's nothing to gain from him dying once more.

That aside, there's also the fact he is an incredibly skilled and brave warrior who'll be leading the battle for Westeros, and is one of the biggest (arguably the biggest) heroes of the entire series. He's (in part) the ice of Ice and Fire, one of the three-heads of the dragon, and will almost certainly still be standing at the end. As a bastard, his survival also fits with Martin's misfit heroes as well.

Why He Might Not

Pure shock value would be one reason to kill him off, even if they have already done it. Jon is one of the most noble people in Westeros, and will throw himself into battle before anybody else, consequences be damned (see: Battle of the Bastards). He only just survived there, and could receive the most heroic of hero deaths here.
