Any movie or TV show with a fan base is bound to have some sort of parody or fan-made video thrust into the world wide web for everyone to see. Game of Thrones, however, takes the cake with the sheer volume of fan creations that have surfaced since its silver screen debut in 2011. It's almost once a week there's a new mashup, meme or Etsy product revolving around Westeros and all the fictional character fighting for their lives in (and out of) the seven kingdoms. The best part though is that, for the most part, these fan spin offs are good. Like damn good. And while we stay have to wait a few months for the 4th season to premier, here's some of the best fan creations to hold us when winter comes.

Earlier this year, Youtube user johannhat decided to combine Hodor's signature "Hodor" and the opening credits resulting in a somewhat pitchy but mostly beautifully epic version of opening theme. With over 700,000 views, it's safe to say 'Game of Hodor' has become a bit of a sensation. The best part for me though is that there's also a ringtone version available. Caution: depending on how popular you are, it may mark you as the most annoying person in the office.
