Regardless of how poorly the plan goes, the trip does offer an apparent nod to Peter Dinklage's voice work on Destiny. The window that he sits looking out of, and which seems very deliberately contrasted for emphasis, bears an uncanny resemblance to Ghost, the character he lent his voice to in the game.

So it seems there might be at least ONE fan of the performance in the world, then.
