Game Of Thrones: 12 Things You Learn Rewatching Season 6

6. Howland Reed Really Should Appear

Game Of Thrones Howland Reed

Hanging around the Tower of Joy a little longer, it's here we finally get to see a glimpse of Howland Reed, Jojen and Meera's father, who stabs Arthur Dayne before he can finish of Ned.

While it's great to see him in flashback, that's not why Howland is a figure of interest to so many Game of Thrones and ASOIAF fans. It's because he survived that event, and left the Tower of Joy with Ned. And after Ned's death, he is the only person alive in Westeros who knows what happened there.

While Bran, as a human Wikipedia, knows the truth of Jon's parentage, it might take more than that to convince the larger populous. Howland Reed feels too important to not appear in the present storyline, and it'd be great to see him in Season 8.
