Game Of Thrones: 13 Missing Characters Who May Still Have An Important Part To Play

2. Jaqen H'ghar

jaqenhgar A favourite of many book readers and television viewers is the enigmatic Jaqen H€™ghar, an assassin who interacted with Arya Stark at Harrenhal, offering to take three lives at her command due to her €˜stealing three lives from the Red God€™ by saving the lives of himself, Rorge and Biter. Arya used the first two deaths on insignificant individuals before tricking Jaqen into using the third to free a group of captive Northmen, who in turn took Harrenhal from the Lannisters. Intrigued by the girl after this, Jaqen gave her a coin before magically changing his appearance into that of a €˜hook-nosed man with a gold tooth€™ Some time later, an individual named Pate met with a man named The Alchemist in Oldtown. This enigmatic individual, who also possessed a hooked nose and a gold tooth, killed Pate, who was then somehow present to welcome Samwell Tarly to the Citadel when he arrived seeking to become a master for the Night€™s Watch... It would therefore seem that Jaqen H€™ghar is in Oldtown (which will presumably become an important location now a POV character (Sam) is there) and is impersonating a novice of the Citadel. What is his purpose for this? Will he and Arya cross paths again? I wish GRRM would hurry up with the next book already!
