Game Of Thrones: 18 Terrible Ideas That Were Great To Watch

17. Wronging Arya. Ever.

Game Of Thrones Arya Glare Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Arya who didn't want to have to learn to be a lady. She liked playing with her brothers and throwing food at her sister. She had a loving family and a comfortable home. It was a good life. Three seasons later, Arya is a 12-year old girl on the run with an ever-growing bucket list of people to kill, a traveling companion whose primary joy in life is causing violent death, and a standing offer of training from a mysterious assassin. The main cause for this transition? Joffrey Baratheon, the single person that everyone in Westeros seems to agree deserves to be slapped in the face. Already with a short enough fuse that it seemed at least a little bit irresponsible for Jon Snow to give her a sword, the first time that we see Arya's death glare comes in the second episode of the first season, when Joffrey lies about their riverside fight, leading to the death of her friend and the execution of Sansa's direwolf. Arya doesn't start with her list until posing as a boy in season 2, but we see the exact moment when Joffrey earns his place at the top. Arya is small enough to underestimate, but the girl knows how to hold a grudge. Making her list is not a good idea. Watch out, Freys. Arya never learned how to be a lady.
