For all the talk that the dragon riding was an essential part of Dany's progression from wannabe queen to bona-fide hell-raising bad-ass, it's a shame that the sequence was so clunky. Yes, convincingly having someone ride a dragon isn't your everyday film-making concern, but when everything else looks so glorious, even a slight CGI misstep makes it look like a bad 1980s fantasy kids TV show.
