6. The First Episode Mirrors The Pilot

The first episode of Season 8 is going to have a Royal entourage arriving in Winterfell, and if that sounds familiar, it's because it's supposed to.

The show kicked off - after some White Walker business - with Robert Baratheon and his extended family arriving at Winterfell, with the entire Stark family lined up to greet them and crowds of onlookers trying to get a peak. We're going to be seeing something similar in Season 8, but with it being Daenerys and Jon arriving there.

Since this is the beginning of the end for the show, it makes sense to go back to the start, and the premiere is very heavily going to mirror the first ever episode of Game of Thrones, with numerous callbacks to Season 1 then expected throughout the rest of the run too.
