Game Of Thrones: 7 Things That "The House Of Black And White" Did Right (And 3 It Didn't)

2. Cavalier About Jaime And Cersei

Game of Thrones 502 Jaime Cersei

Also rather loose at the moment are the tongues of the Lannister twins regarding the paternity of the royal children. Jaime at least protests when Cersei practically shouts about his status as Myrcella’s sire, and he’s certainly correct when he points out that there was no way for him to act as father to any of the three children, but both are far too open and cavalier about the incest that devastated the kingdom while the Lannister position in the capable is so precarious.

Robert Baratheon may be dead, the honorable inclined to expose the truth may be dead or deserted, and the Jaime/Cersei union may be the worst kept secret in King’s Landing this side of Loras’ sexuality, but a bit of circumspection wouldn’t kill them.
