In the show, Catelyn Stark says that Bran is 10 years old, but anyone who's read the books knows that Bran was only a 7 when the books begun. Which means he witnessed his first beheading at 7 then went on to see Jaime and Cersei getting frisky at 7, which in turn had him pushed out of a window at 7 and paralyzed for life. All at 7. It's pretty horrifying to think of a little boy who should (in normal circumstances) just be starting out in school to go into a coma and come out paralyzed. While Bran is lucky enough to be a Stark (or is that unlucky?) and can warg, unlike most people with disabilities in everyday life, it is still pretty terrible that he can't use his own legs and has to rely on his Hodor taxi.
