Game Of Thrones: 9 New Characters Set To Appear In Season 7

2. Warrior

Robert Baratheon Game of Thrones
HBO

Description: Warrior, 35 – 45 years old. “The character is a tough-looking bruiser with the attack skills of a pit bull, and the actor needs to be great at fighting. He has a ‘considerable’ amount of dialogue as well. It’s described as an ‘excellent part for a top-end actor.'” They’re looking for a white actor with a “neutral and non-posh English accent.” The role will shoot through October.

Who It Could Be: This is one of the biggest roles from this casting call, but there's not a lot to go on in terms of location or possible character. Victarion Greyjoy and Jon Connington both spring to mind, or they would if the show weren't really past the point of introducing them. There's no need for Victarion now Euron is after Theon and Yara, and as for Connington, Jorah has his greyscale arc, and with around 13 episodes left it's surely far too late to start the Young Griff story.

It could be someone brought in by Cersei to fight for her (she has the Mountain, but is probably going to set about establishing a few new Queensguard members), as the description makes it sound bigger than some random member of the Brotherhood or such like. More muscle for Cersei is definitely a possibility.

Of course, it could always be a flashback character - a younger Robert Baratheon, maybe? Now that we've had the Tower of Joy, it's certainly possible the show will start filling in more of those gaps, showing us added scenes of Robert's Rebellion.
