Game Of Thrones: All The Hidden Messages & Meanings In Season 8 Teaser Trailer

7. Bran Is Fully The Three-Eyed Raven (And Thus Immortal)

Game Of Thrones Season 7 Trailer Bran
HBO

With the teaser focusing on Jon, Arya, and Sansa, it leaves the other remaining Stark conspicuous by his absence. There's no sign of Bran anywhere, but then that just serves as a reminder - or even further confirmation - that Bran Stark is no more.

He was well on his way to fully becoming the Three-Eyed Raven in Season 7, telling Meera he wasn't really Bran. This teaser goes further with that by not having a statue of him in the Crypts. Partially because he isn't a Stark anymore, but even more so because, now that he's the Three-Eyed Raven, he isn't going to die.

Bran's burden is now to live on forever, seeing all things, as the previous Three-Eyed Raven did before him. It should come in very handy for the Battle of Ice and Fire, but might suggest a pretty lonely existence beyond that.
