Ygritte was a badass wildling warrior who fell in love with Jon Snow and found her allegiances torn between her new love interest and the wildling cause spearheaded by Mance Rayder. During her time on the show, she proved to be an accomplished archer, a master survivalist and a sensitive woman who hid her feelings under a tough exterior.

In the end, Ygritte proved to have a tragic arc, which culminated in her death at the Battle of Castle Black, where she couldn't bring herself to kill Jon when she had the chance. She then dies in his arms, with the greatest dying words of the show: "You know nothing, Jon Snow."
