Game Of Thrones: Is Gendry Really Cersei Lannister's Son?
3. Cersei's Pregnancy
As of Season 8, Cersei Lannister may or may not be pregnant. Tyrion believes she is, Jaime believes she is, and, as far as we know, Cersei believes she is too. Which, really, more or less confirms that she is - or was - pregnant.
That's important in terms relative to Gendry, because if Cersei is pregnant now, then it means she could potentially defeat the prophecy made by Maggy, the woods witch. She told Cersei that she would only have three children - gold their crowns and gold their shrouds - and we can assume losing her first boy still fits with this idea, because her child would've had to have died so young (we're talking within a week or so, max, and that's if it wasn't a stillbirth).
However, if she has a child now, then that confirms the prophecy wasn't completely true. And if it's not true now, then it was never true. That would mean Cersei could've had more than three children, and that her first-born son could well have survived, and thus could have been Gendry.
