Game Of Thrones Prequel: 10 Legendary Characters We Hope To See

1. Azor Ahai And Nissa Nissa

Night King First Man
HBO

Who was the hero that defeated the Night King and Army of the Dead the first time by driving them back to the Land of Always Winter? The prophecy that's been passed down over and over states that the hero most commonly known as Azor Ahai worked tirelessly to forge the sword Lightbringer to defeat the White Walkers. It was said to glow and radiate heat, burning whoever touches it.

In order to unleash the powers of this great sword, Azor Ahai called for his loving wife, known as Nissa Nissa, asked her to bare her breast while proceeded to drive the sword through her heart. Seems like a nice guy. Anyhoo the steel combined with the soul of Nissa Nissa was what brought Lightbringer into the world. Not exactly the most romantic of conceptions, but it did serve the greater good. However it's safe to say Mr. Ahai still slept on the couch for a while in the afterlife regardless of this justification.

Due to none of these legends or stories being officially written, only verbally passed, the majority have been filed as fairytale and jumbled/confused with others, such as the case of the Winged Knight. He rode a giant falcon, commanded an army of birds whilst ruling the Vale but it's unlclear if he was an Arryn since they came later for example. That being said, in a fantasy world featuring dragons and ice-zombies, anything is possible. Here's to hopefully finding out the truth on these legendary figures, and many other mysteries in George R.R. Martin's world of Ice and Fire.
