Game Of Thrones: Ranking EVERY Major Death Worst To Best

29. Jorah Mormont

Game Of Thrones Ned Stark
HBO

Death: Killed in the Battle of Winterfell.

This one was pretty predictable and, same as with Eddison Tollett, the plot armour which protected seemingly everyone else meant one couldn't but wonder how they'd all survived yet this incredible knight hadn't. Still, it was a solid end for Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen).

He came out of nowhere to defend Daenerys (somehow getting past scores of zombies), so this was as illogical as the rest of the episode, but him dying protecting his beloved queen was exactly how his story should end.
