Game Of Thrones: Ranking The Probability Of Every Character Death At The Battle Of Winterfell

11. Gendry

After four years away, Gendry returned to Game of Thrones in Season 7, professing that, in some way, he'd always known what was coming and that he'd been getting ready. He didn't get to see much action beyond the Wall, but - with his new mace weapon that Joe Dempsie teased - he should see plenty at Winterfell.

Gendry is a fair fighter, but the bigger question about his survival is why they brought him back? Is it to make weapons and then kill off a well-liked character? Or is it because he has a bigger purpose, relating to his Baratheon blood?

So far, Season 8 has focused on his relationship with Arya, including a sex scene on the eve of the battle. That's the kind of thing that generally screams death, and now makes him look more likely to die than he did before A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. However, there is still enough to suggest a bigger purpose, which means he's not COMPLETELY dead meat.

Chance Of Death: 7/10
