Game Of Thrones: Ranking The Probability Of Every Character Death At The Battle Of Winterfell

3. Yohn Royce

Lord Yohn Royce, commander of the armies of the Vale, is by all accounts a great battle commander and a skilled fighter to boot, which should make him useful at Winterfell. He's also someone who, until recently, didn't have a great deal to do.

Ok, he still doesn't have a lot to do now, but his loyal support of Sansa in Season 7, getting a line in Littlefinger's death scene, and then a couple of scenes in the Season 8 premiere (one of them at the moment Tyrion and Sansa reunite) and a brief glimpse of him in Episode 2, suggests that Game of Thrones wants us to remember who this guy is.

There's no reason to do that at this stage unless it's so we recognise him when he's killed off.

Chance Of Death: 9/10
