A few years ago, the idea of Tyrion Lannister not making it to the finale of Game of Thrones was unthinkable. He was the face of the show; its best character with the best lines and best storylines.

That's changed a fair bit in recent years, to the point where you could almost believe he is expendable. Almost. He's still Tyrion, after all, and that reputation and his previous importance would suggest he'll be making it to the end of the story.

That's a good thing, too, because there does need to be more from him in this final season - one last plan or arc that reminds you of why he became so beloved in the first place.
