Sansa Stark is the Lady of Winterfell, so it's to her door the dead are coming - how will she respond? Sansa might have issues with Jon and Dany, but she's the one who has been preparing her people for the long winter, and help ensure things are as ready as possible for the battle ahead.

But what now? She can't fight, so it's likely she'll simply have to wait it out in the crypts, calling back to her position in Blackwater, but this time as much more of a leader. The trailer does show her on the battlements, but presumably she'll then go underground. Sansa's story is really one of survival, as she's been passed from person to person as a pawn in their games. She's now, finally, in a position where she has control of her own destiny, and it'd be such a shame for her to die now.

Similarly, given how central the Starks are to the story, they should all make it out of Winterfell alive, which would then make it much more poignant if they have to watch it burn to the ground.
