7. Will Randyll Go After Sam?

Really brave, or really stupid?

That's the question after watching Sam not only go back on his decision to leave Gilly and baby Sam at Horn Hill, but then steal his father's Valyrian steel greatsword before he left.

Given that Heartsbane is the prized possession of Randyll Tarly, and that he hates his son enough as it is, there will likely be some repercussions from this. Will Randyll hunt his son down and take back the sword, or can they make a proper getaway? The fact that Randyll knows their destination makes this more difficult, as does the fact that the Citadel doesn't allow women. Just where is Sam going to go next, and what will happen with Gilly and the baby?
