9. What Impact Will Roose's Death Have?

Game of Thrones Tyrion Dragons

Almost three seasons after he plunged a dagger into Robb Stark's chest, Roose Bolton is on the receiving end of the same punishment, at the hands of his own son, no less.

There was an air of inevitability to Roose's death, given he was the only one trying to control Ramsay, and also threatened him with the prospect of a new heir, but to see a powerful Northern Lord killed in the second episode still came as a bit of a shock.

This, and the brutal slaughter of Walda and baby, could throw the North into chaos. Ramsay Bolton is now in charge, meaning the inmate has taken over the asylum. He was hard to control anyway, but now he'll be completely let off the leash. Roose is the one who dealt with the other houses and commanded respect, in the North and South, so what impact will this have?
