Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Characters Who Should Be Killed Off

10. Brienne

I really, really resent Brienne. It€™s not that she isn€™t noble and courageous and strong in her convictions. She€™s all those things and more. My problem with Brienne lies in the fact that she €œkilled€ The Hound. Once Oberyn Martell got his head crushed into a puddle of Red Viper jelly Sandor Clegane was the best remaining character on Game of Thrones. We really shouldn€™t have been rooting for him in his battle with Brienne, but it was hard not to. The gallant warrior from the island of Tarth warmed her way into our hearts during her time spent alongside Jaime Lannister. The two forged an unlikely bond that even caused us to soften our stance on the incestuous Kingslayer. But ever since then it€™s been all downhill in the story department for Brienne. She spent the majority of Season 5 staring at a tower waiting for the flicker of a candle so that she could provide aid to Sansa Stark. Although that never happened, she was able to fulfil another sworn oath by taking the life of Stannis Baratheon as he lay wounded on the battlefield after his clash with the Boltons. Brienne has now taken two main characters from us €“ although one definitely had it coming €“ and maybe it€™s time for her to go. Anything would be preferable to another season spent doing absolutely nothing. Besides, assuming she doesn€™t get killed off in The Force Awakens, Gwendoline Christie still has another sweet job to fall back on.
