Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Ups And 2 Downs From 'No One'

3. Jaime And Brienne's Reunion (And Farewell)

After going their separate ways back in Season 4, Jaime and Brienne get their long-awaited reunion this week (of course it had to happen this year, it's the Season of Reunions after all).

It's a rather sad meeting, as they end up on opposing sides, but still a touching one between these two who share a rather special bond. They're enemies here, but clearly care deeply about one another. The pair pick up where they left off, and it's all very well done, especially thanks to that history between them (and it's out of respect, not romance). The moment where Brienne tries to give back Oathkeeper, and Jaime refuses, is an especially nice touch.

Then there's that final goodbye, with Jaime allowing Brienne and Pod to leave by boat, and the pair raise their hands to each other; two people who choose to see the best in each other, a side many people don't look at in them.
