Game Of Thrones Season 6: 10 Ups And 2 Downs From 'The Broken Man'

6. The Siege Of Riverrun

Game of Thrones Blackfish
HBO

It wasn't the biggest return of the episode, but it was still great to see the Blackfish back on our screens. He's a good guy, but a badass one at that, and he makes for an entertainingly grumpy presence here, from not being impressed by Jaime to not caring whether Edmure is killed or not.

The siege itself hasn't really kicked into gear yet, that'll come next week, but what we get here is still fun to watch. Jaime slapping around the Freys was a nice moment, but the payoff was the 'parley' between him and the Blackfish.

It pulls together the strings from last week, and manages to reintroduce the Blackfish and setup an impending battle really well.
