Game Of Thrones Season 6: 11 Major Implications Of Jon Snow's Return

1. Jon...Targaryen?

The other potential name-change for Jon Snow very much relies on the reveal of his parentage to be what we're all expecting it to be. Once that is confirmed, it opens up a whole host of possibilities of what Jon may do in the future of the series. It's widely believed that once the truth about his parents comes out, it will ultimately lead to him being one of the three heads of the dragon needed to save Westeros, and a team-up with Daenerys Targaryen. Given that Targs aren't opposed to keeping things in the family, they could even end up marrying each other. Regardless of whether that actually happens (and I'd rather it didn't), it doesn't lessen the chance of his story becoming intertwined with that of Dany; it has to happen in some way, shape, or form. So, if it's revealed that he is not the son of Ned Stark but Rhaegar Targaryen, could he then adopt the name, and either become one of the dragon riders, or challenge for the Iron Throne himself? What do you think will happen when Jon Snow returns? Do we know nothing? Share your thoughts down in the comments.
