5. Daenerys' Diversion
Right, here's the thing, Game of Thrones has Season 6, Season 7, and probably Season 8 left to go before we all cry a thousand tears and aimlessly roam the Earth (and Netflix) in search of a new way to fill our time. Daenerys has spent five seasons talking about seizing Westeros, and now time is running out for the pay-off to be worth the build-up. Season 5 saw Daenerys flexing her political muscles in charge of Meereen, with horrid, bloody consequences. It hasn't been the greatest start to the rebirth of an empire, and now she has been swarmed by a Dothraki Khalasar. There's a chance they could actually help the Khaleesi, though regardless of how they react, her Season 6 storyline will largely revolve around becoming reacquainted with the Dothraki as opposed to a march on Westeros, leaving her with a maximum of two seasons to plot her move, cross the Narrow Sea, invade, conquer, reign, and wipe out the White Walkers. The writers need to get her involved in the bigger picture as soon as they can.
