Game Of Thrones Season 6: 12 Incredible Scenes The Trailer Sets Up

Will Tyrion inherit a new (fire-breathing) pet?

By now you've probably formulated the entire plot to Game Of Thrones Season 6, right down to the smallest details. You've been waiting for over half a year, biding your time for any hint at what's in store for the next run of Westerosi carnage. 101 seconds feels like a goldmine. It was superb trailer, teasing everything, but keeping its biggest secrets under lock and key. That's exactly the way it should be. However, despite the footage predominantly containing rapid-fire shots of action, there are certain individual scenes we can predict with some degree of confidence. Tyrion may have only featured for a split, dimly-lit second, yet in that brief moment, an enormous sub-plot was potentially revealed, while so many other crucial scenes were highlighted. Of course, it's easy to randomly speculate about every single moment of the trailer, but here you'll only find some of the more concrete, specific scenes that are likely to make it into Season 6.

12. Davos And Melisandre's Mutual Respect

Melisandre is rattled. One of the most surprising scenes from the trailer was the Red Priestess' complete character U-turn. She's totally shaken after her campaign with Stannis ended in calamity, tragedy and bloodshed, meaning she'll pick up in Season 6 at her lowest ebb. Of course, there's an awkward conversation to be had with Davos, and she's speaking openly with him about her regret. Suddenly Davos appears to have taken the high ground, but he's an honourable man. The pair will never become anything close to 'friends', after all, she was responsible for Shireen's sacrifice and caused Stannis' insane lust for power, but the trailer suggests they could forge a mutual respect in order to raise the true hero Westeros needs. More on that later...
