Game Of Thrones Season 6: 12 Major Plot Hints From The Trailer
7. Bran's (Not At All Jedi-Like) Training
Bran has been gone long enough now that Isaac Hempstead Wright now looks like a completely different person, and that's sort of the point for season 6. Gone (hopefully) will be the boring Hobbit-like figure trying to find self-worth and destiny in the three eyes of the Raven, as he's finally reached his meaningful destination. This season we will hopefully get to see Bran being trained by Max Von Sydow's Three Eyed Raven in a similar dynamic to the Yoda/Luke Skywalker scenes in The Empire Strikes Back. The more you think about that, the more it's obvious that Bran is Game Of Thrones' version of Luke: he's a little bit whiney, relies on the strength of other characters to get by until the revelation of his own powers, and is incredibly annoying at times. That shot in the trailer of him encountering the Night's King will inevitably be revealed to be part of his training (a means to harness his visions, probably), since he's standing up. So that's probably where he'll be for the majority of the season.
