8. Brienne Mercilessly Slaughters That One Dude
Sansa and Theon continue to flee from Ramsay's guards, but end up getting caught. Just when it seems that all hope is gone, out of nowhere come Brienne and Podrick to save the day, cutting the guards down in decisive fashion.
It's all pretty standard Game of Thrones combat fare, except for one dementedly hilarious kill at the end of the sequence, where a soldier is trapped under his horse, and as Brienne makes a move to kill him, he desperately shouts, "No, please, no!" with a genuine tone of remorse in his voice.
That doesn't stop Brienne, who slashes his throat without a moment's thought, a welcome showcase of the savagery needed to survive in this world. Plus, just because you're on the "good" side in the show doesn't mean you have to be a pushover.
