5. Sam Goes Home...

So, after half a season travelling with the girlfriend and child he's not allowed to drop them off with the family who basically disowned him, Sam has finally reached The Reach.

What precisely is Sam going to be doing once he gets to his home? He can't imagine that his family - and the same proud, warrior father at its head - will react kindly to the fact that he's brought a wildling to their home.

And more importantly, this is the same family who wanted him to disappear so that a better heir could take his place. If he comes back to rub the fact that he actually still exists (despite his father's probable assumption that he'd die at The Wall quickly) and now has his own family, they're hardly going to be happy.

Bless his sadly misguided heart, he actually looks excited to be home...
