6. Winter Has Come

In the lore of the books, the white raven signifies the changing of the seasons, announcing that Winter has come. Obviously that has double meaning with the White Walkers on their way and the Starks in the ascendance. Hopefully they sent it South to the Lannisters and Freys in mockery.

The family have their own problems to deal with though, as Jon clearly isn’t happy with Sansa for inviting Littlefinger to the battlefield without his knowledge. She may have won the battle by not consulting him, but she wouldn’t have lost anything to tell Jon, which is probably why he’s reiterating that they need to be closer now than ever.

Luckily for her, he seems pretty forgiving, which might change when Littlefinger starts his inevitable machinations for power.
