Game Of Thrones Season 6: Every Death (So Far) Ranked Worst To Best
9. Ser Arthur Dayne
After years of speculation, Brans experimentation with the Ravens magic gave us an insight into one of the greatest mysteries in Game of Thrones history - the Tower Of Joy.
As part of that, we also got to see the double sword wielding bad-ass that was Ser Arthur Dayne who almost single-handedly cut down Neds party and almost killed him. Were it not for the intervention of a wounded Howland Reed, who stabbed Dayne in the neck to save Stark, the entire Game Of Thrones story would have been vey different.
The reason the death matters is that it not only showed Reed and Starks victory to be dishonourable, but it also gave us confirmation that Reed survived, as he did in the books and could still have a part to play in Jon Snows war-making.
Obviously, it was a shame that we didnt actually get to see an actual answer to the question of R + L = J, but theres every chance well get to see that by the end of the season anyway.
