20. The Great Game

"Are you afraid? You should be. You're in the great game now, and the great game is terrifying." We'd already heard the latter part of Tyrion's speech, but it's extended in this trailer to make it into an even starker warning, although who he's talking to isn't exactly clear. Obviously it's cut to make it seem like Daenerys, once they're reunited, but it could feasibly be Grey Worm or Missandei (neither of whom have really been involved in 'the game' yet), Varys (though he's a master of it), or the envoy he's greeting in Meereen in the shot above, which looks like it's probably Meereenese folk come to talk to their new ruler. Of course, the contention here is whether the first part of that quote is actually Tyrion. There is, on repeated listens, a subtle difference to the voice. For now Tyrion may still be the best bet, but it could well be a character who haven't heard yet, such as the Three-Eyed Raven or Euron Greyjoy.
