Game Of Thrones Season 7: 12 Big Questions After 'The Queen's Justice'

2. When Will Jaime Turn Against Cersei?

Jaime is, even at this stage, still blinded by his love for Cersei (an unfortunate departure from his superior book arc and characterisation), and it's not easy to see what will be the straw that breaks the camel's back.

He stands by her even after she had the Sept destroyed, and stays there stoically while she flirts with Euron, tortures Ellaria, and flaunts their love all over King's Landing. Even at the end of the episode, when it's just him and Olenna, he remains a staunch defender of his sister.

However, it's still most believable that he will indeed turn out to be the Valonqar and kill Cersei, but what will drive him to that point, if nothing has thus far? Will it be her dalliance with Euron that pushes him to break? Or will Cersei do something much more realm-threatening, as she fully transitions into the Mad Queen, that means he has to end her life?
