1. It's All Going Very Fast

Obviously the shorter episode format means this season is going to hurtle along at a fair old pace, it's still quite surprising that so much has been dealt with already.

That swiftness is helped considerably by the fact that Dany started out with all of the armies and now it's basically just her, her angry horsemen and her dragons. At this rate we're going to come to a conclusion of the great war of men in about 2 episode's time.

Sadly, it's a little like being reminded of your own mentality, given that there are now only 10 episodes left and honestly nobody is going to be prepared for what happens when the show goes away...

And it's not harming the show's ratings, by the look of it...
