Game Of Thrones Season 7 - 8 Clues From "Queen's Justice" Trailer

4. Can Anyone Say "Dead Meat"?

Game Of Thrones Grey Worm
HBO

It might not come in this episode (please, please no), but Grey Worm's days were numbered the moment he admitted that Missandei is his weakness. He has a reason to live now - other than duty - and that's the sort of complication in Westeros that ruins everything.

So it's maybe time to say goodbye.

Even with the Lannister army mostly focused on Highgarden (judging by the wider shots seen in the other trailer for the battle), the strategic position will not be undefended, and we know the Unsullied will lose some of their number to the archer defence, as glimpsed in the Comic Con teaser...

And even though we get some shots of the army swarming the main entrance to the castle - mostly unbothered by any defending forces - they might find that they're drawn into that courtyard on purpose, with the archers positioned around the battlements to shoot them like fish in a barrel...

Could this be the exact moment Grey Worm falls?

We also really need to talk about how the Unsullied managed to sail all the way around the base of Westeros and up to Casterly Rock without coming into contact with Euron. It's a pretty big missed opportunity by the Greyjoy fleet to miss out on destroying the Unsullied and the majority of Dany's fleet ferrying them in favour of a tiny portion of her ships in order to capture Yara and Ellaria.

Surely the former target would have been more valuable to Cersei?
