6. A Subtle Knife

There's a brief shot in the teaser of a dagger being unsheathed, which is a pretty loaded image, not least because we've seen it before. It's the infamous catspaw assassin dagger that was sent to kill Bran in the first season.

And whose hands are they? Littlefinger's, curiously. The rings are a dead give away.

Plus, we know that Baelish has the dagger in his possession after he took it as a trophy of sorts from Ned Stark when he was put on trial and killed. He's probably still telling everyone it belongs to Tyrion, however.

So what's he doing? Probably trying to finish Bran off finally, now that he's back in Winterfell. Bran is a massive thorn in Littlefinger's side, not only because he will focus Sansa's attention on the impending White Walker attack but because he's the legitimate lord of Winterfell, even if he doesn't want to be.

The law will recognise him as the heir to House Stark (the legal status of The Three-Eyed Raven is probably pretty vague), and there's definitely murder in Baelish's eyes...

His end is coming, and hopefully he will over-reach to try and kill Bran, only to end up being murdered by another Stark. Arya, probably, given that HBO just casually released a promo shot of Arya with the catspaw dagger ahead of the season's release...
