8. The Arrowhead Mountain

After some pretty shots of the frozen North, we get to see through The Hound's eyes as he claps them on the daunting image of a mountain cutting into the sky. If you think it looks familiar, there's a good reason for that - it's the same one from season six, episode five and the site of the Children Of The Forest creating the first White Walker. The bloody idiots.

Naturally, The Hound looks shook, as it's also the mountain he saw in his vision - hence the far-off, haunted look and Tormund's slight confusion at what is going on.

This is the first confirmation that the White Walkers are very near, and that the Northern Raiders have somehow managed to cross the distance between Eastwatch and the white army hundreds of times faster than the wights themselves could have. Stop obsessing about how broken and inconsistent the travelling is in this show and it's fine.
