10. Arya & Sansa Are Playing Littlefinger

So uncharacteristic was Arya's treatment of her sister in the penultimate episode of season 7 that some fans speculated that she was in fact Jaqen H'ghar in disguise, but there's no way that could possibly be accurate.

The more compelling argument for Arya's behaviour, and the widening gap between her and Sansa, is that they're actually playing a game. We've already seen Arya playing parts (it comes hand in hand with her Faceless Man training), and we know that Littlefinger is keeping close watch on everything the sisters are doing in Winterfell.

So what if Arya and Sansa are playing Littlefinger's system? What if they're playing up to Littlefinger's manipulations to engineer a position of power over him (whereby he reveals his hand and can be dealt with). That would explain why they have put themselves in an apparently weakened position (by sending Brienne away), and why Arya seems to be playing her Faceless Man routine so well.
