Game Of Thrones Season 7 Finale: 7 Things You Might've Missed In 'The Dragon And The Wolf'

6. A Dragon Is Not A Slave

"Zaldrīzes buzdari iksos daor."

Daenerys says this phrase to Jon in the Draongpit, before explaining its meaning: A dragon is not a slave. It's a callback to a previous moment of empowerment for Dany, when she reveals she has been playing the slave owner Kraznys all along, before uttering the more well-known High Valyrian phrase: Dracarys.

The scene also once again made mention of Daenerys' inability to have children, something the show hasn't exactly been subtle on in the past couple of episodes. Dany mentions that a witch told her she couldn't, which refers to Mirri Maz Duur back in Season 1, although the show left out a key part of the prophecy: "When your womb quickens again, and you bear a living child. Then he will return, and not before."

Given what goes down later in this episode, the show is going very heavy on the foreshadowing of Jon and Daenerys having a child in Season 8, and quite likely naming it Drogo (or, at this rate, Aegon again).
