Game Of Thrones Season 7: Predicting Who Lives And Who Dies

28. Petyr Baelish

Game of Thrones Petyr Baelish Littlefinger

Petyr Baelish lives to play the game. He has an insatiable thirst for power, something he's hoping to achieve by turning Sansa Stark against her family.

She is obviously prepared to listen to what he's saying, but the notion of her siding with him once Bran and Arya have returned home to Winterfell (which seems almost certain) feels impossible. Her words in the trailer - "the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives" - are likely a reminder of the importance of family, which is bad news for Littlefinger.

The world is changing. Soon the political machinations of Westeros won't matter, but Baelish is still stuck playing the same old game - and what's more, he's of no use in the new one. As the show shifts to a different gear, Littlefinger is going to be left behind.

Prediction: Dies, probably at Sansa or Jon's hand.
