Despite their obvious differences - y'know, her being happy to blow up a Sept full of people will wildfire; him, er, not - Cersei and Jaime are still side by side as Season 7 gets underway, and it's clear that although Jaime has reservations, his sister maintains a massive hold over him.

That internal struggle is going to be more pronounced than ever this year, as he wants to do right by the woman he loves, but also knows that he cannot allow her to become a true Mad Queen and lay waste to the realm.

That should make for some fascinating drama to watch unfold over the next few weeks, and it's going to be a big test of Jaime's character. He's obviously going to be fighting for Cersei at some point, as we've seen him leading the Lannister army against the Dothraki, but will it still be that way by the season's end? When many have been killed, the truth threat revealed, and still Cersei wants to squash all in her path, consequences be damned, will Jaime then become the Valonqar?
