Game Of Thrones Season 7 Premiere: 9 Ups And 3 Downs From 'Dragonstone'

1. Game Of Thrones Is Back

This one is pretty simple: it is SO F**KING GOOD to have Game of Thrones back on our screens again.

This episode wasn't perfect (as I'll get to in a minute), and there's no way it'll stand as the best of Season 7 come the end (hopefully not, anyway), but it is an excellent return for the series.

It's been a wait longer than ever, although long-time book readers would argue that just over a year is absolutely nothing. Either way, it's great to have it back.

That's not just because of its quality, but because it's perhaps TV's only real watercooler TV show right now (a dying breed in the era of Peak TV). Over the next couple of days everyone will be discussing Game of Thrones, from raving about Arya to endless theorising about the White Walkers. So welcome back Game of Thrones, we've bloody missed you.

Now, onto what didn't go so well...
