Game Of Thrones Season 8: 10 Characters Most Likely To Die
1. Cersei Lannister
Finally we come to the big villain of Season 8. Yes, even bigger than The Night King. Sure, he has an army of the dead marching for Westeros, but her plan is to let him kill everyone until she’s the only one left, not to mention how astutely she’s plotted against most of the surviving cast; make no mistake, Cersei is the biggest threat that Season 8 has to offer.
The Night King is clear and open in his ambition; evil though it may be. Cersei is a lot more insidious, duplicitous and conniving, meaning she’s at far more risk of someone lashing out when they realised they’ve been duped. She’s been winning the game of thrones for a while now, but her luck may be about to run out.
The popular theory is that following Maggy The Frog’s prophesy, Cersei’s little brother will be the one to actually end it all for her. Rather than Tyrion, her little brother in more ways than one, it might actually be Jaime, her slightly younger twin. More evidence of this can be found in Season 7 where Cersei stands on a map of Westeros at the Neck, and Jaime at the Fingers, suggesting he might strangle her to death.
A wilder version of the theory has Arya, wearing Jaime’s face, as the one to finally off her. Whatever happens, Cersei is a marked woman going into the final series.
