7. Will We Learn More About The Night King & White Walkers?

Although they've largely existed on the edges of the series, the White Walkers - led by the Night King - are now the biggest threat in the Known World. They're the major force the living heroes have to deal with, and yet we know very little about them.

According to the script for The Dragon and the Wolf, there are "hundreds" of White Walkers among the Night King's army, though the exact figure is unknown. They come from the Lands of Always Winter, can be killed by Valyrian steel and dragonglass, and if you kill one, you also destroy the wights belonging to it.

That's about the extent of our White Walker knowledge. They are a literal representation of death, but is there anything more to them? Will we learn more of their secrets? Will we learn more of who the Night King was before he was turned, and who exactly his target is in Season 8?
