Game Of Thrones Season 8: 8 Huge Questions 'The Bells' Leaves Behind

2. Will Jon Be The One To Kill Her?

On the topic of Daenerys' endpoint, the most common assumption is that she now has to die. It's difficult to see how she survives, in a series so filled with death, after what she's just done.

So who will do it?

After The Bells, Arya has to be a prime candidate for killing her: not only does she fulfil the green eyes part of Melisandre's prophecy, but it was through Arya we saw most of the chaos and destruction. Tyrion, too, will have motive after seeing Dany's actions firsthand and losing his family.

Topping the list, however, is Jon Snow, which is a strange position for someone who isn't a killer in the typical sense. Dany's his Queen and he's a man of honour, but he had the horrible realisation of what she'd become during her brutal attack on King's Landing. It's hard to imagine Jon as a Queenslayer in the same way Jaime killed Daenerys'' father, but might there be a way of pulling it off?
