Game Of Thrones Season 8: 8 Huge Questions 'The Long Night' Leaves Behind

5. How Does Jaime Fit Into Things?

Game of Thrones Brienne Jaime

Jaime has been a big part of things since arriving at Winterfell. While Daenerys wasn't too happy to have the person who killed her father around, he's since Knighted Brienne, and played a key role in the battle here, as he gave commands and fought bravely side-by-side with her.

However, he promised to fight for the living. He did not promise to fight for Daenerys. Now that the war is over, what does Jaime do? He's still with that army, so it's going to be difficult for him to simply turn around and say he's going back to Cersei without paying the price for it. But it's also hard to imagine he'd wage war against her too. That leaves him rather stuck, with no obvious route to go down.
