Game Of Thrones Season 8: Predicting The Fate Of Every Character

34. Dolorous Edd

Dolorous Edd
HBO

In a strange way, Dolorous Edd is quite safe as things stand: the White Walkers have broken through at Eastwatch, and he's about 50 leagues away at Castle Black. Moreover, they're marching south, so were the Night's Watch to stay put, they could theoretically be safe.

But that wouldn't be much fun, would it? The Night's Watch is the shield that guards the realm of men and, while they've kind of failed at their one job, they'll no doubt be joining the fight wherever it takes place in the North (so definitely Winterfell, but maybe before then).

The series started with brothers being killed by White Walkers, so there'd be a fitting sense of things coming full circle to see brothers fighting against them here, although obviously, they'd lose. Since Edd is the most recognisable face at Castle Black, he must be a goner.
